MANILA - A 14-year-old student in Pasig dies after falling off the stairs of her school while taking selfies with her classmate.
The female high school student was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival last Monday.
An autopsy revealed that the student sustained a head injury, broken bones and a broken rib that pierced through her kidney.
The family of the victim wants the school to be held accountable, saying her death could have been prevented if she was attended to by rescue teams immediately.
The school principal insists there was no foul play.
